What is Detailing?
Over the years in Britain we have been gradually copying the states, and moving more towards calling processional valeting, detailing. We at Kleen Machine are happy to go with the flow, however we have always gone that little bit further than just valeting a car. This is often demonstrated by us spending more time cleaning engine bays for shows, paint correction on badly washed cars or full bodywork enhancements where paint has got swirls or has faded. We will also spend that little bit longer removing contaminants from paint with our clay bars (see below). At Kleen Machine we always go for the wow factor, see our testimonials for further details.
Waxing and Sealing?
I don't know how many times people have asked which is the best wax on the market? Customers are amazed that some waxes cost as much as £10.000! Over the last 10 years we have been researching a number of products and found that Carnauba wax is the best by far. Did you know that Carnauba Wax is stronger than concrete in its pure form? When water hits it it expands and forms a hard protective seal making water bead up and run off the paintwork. Carnauba Wax also makes your car easier to clean, dirt and traffic film will not stick to car.
If you want your wax to last longer on your vehicle, your paintwork should be washed, clay bared to remove all the contaminants from the paint, pre wax cleansed ,then waxed. If the paint work needs some scratches removed it will need to be polished using a buffer.
What is Detail Clay Baring?
Industrial, metallic particles in the atmosphere stick to the paint surface of your vehicle then begin the process of corrosion and expansion, which distorts and damages the paint film. The main causes of this is motorway driving where metal from off brakes or tyres embeds into the paintwork of your vehicle, it can also come from rail dust, or from industrial work. The cause can also be bird lime or tree sap or other natural deposits. If you lightly run your hand over your car after it's been washed and clean you will feel the roughness of the paint work. Washing alone will not remove these particles, the only way to remove these particles is with a Detailing Clay Bar. If these particles are left on the paintwork they can rust and effect the paint more.
Detail Clay Baring is also good for removing over spray, this is caused where a vehicle has been painted and not masked it up properly, or in the vicinity of another vehicle whilst it was being painted.

It depends upon which Valet or Detail you have booked , but i will do my best to tell you over the phone or on each valeting service or detailing service I`ve listed up, I will give you a roughly estimated time it will take.
